This has to be one of the best restaurants in the city. By far some of the highest amount of care i’ve seen put into food, that made all the difference in perfect flavor and fry. Freshly breaded and made to order. The banana pudding is LOADED, the mac and cheese is smothered, and collared greens taste fresh made. Can’t go wrong with either the fish or chicken. The best meal I’ve had in ages. Made by real kind people.

I ordered the shrimp, catfish and chicken wings combo. It was delicious and heart warming. Fries were crispy and soft. I am definitely going to come back and will be bringing friends and family to try this place out again.

Solid neighborhood fish fry, serving generous portions of a wide variety of seafood, crunchy cornmeal batter. Light on salt, perfect so as not to feel heavy. Choice of two fish and fries ($16.99) can easily feed two. Calamari and Whiting, excellent. Though a Chicago chain, a solidly Bayview establishment.

As the pictures show, a ton of food. The food was made to order. The catfish & chicken were seasoned right. I didn't mind the 15-minute wait. My food came out piping hot. Well worth the 45-minute drive in the rain and over the bridge for the food. If you don't want to wait just call your order in. I loved the old-school trick of having the bread under the fried food. The food is 5 stars if you are into fried foods. My only knock was that I couldn't sit down and eat cause the doors were wide open and it was cold. So I ended up eating while driving home, which I was ok with. Will be returning.

Great local spot! Hush puppies are moist and delicious. Okra was crispy and hit the spot. I also had the german chocolate cake. Great selection of cake. They have red velvet, yellow chocolate, banana pudding and more. They also have a lot of fun soda flavors. Roll up for great service and tasty food.

The catfish and shrimp combo dinners are excellent. I've also had the catfish and chicken wings. Each combo meal comes with fries, 2-slices of wheat bread and a small coleslaw.

First off the pictures of the food look amazing. The service behind the counter was great. The amount of food was amazing…you get what you pay for and some. Finally the taste was great for our, shrimp, wings, & catfish
